Rosewater - Motor Medicine

There seems to be an interesting electro-industrial / EBM scene in Latvia. Honestly I'm more aware of the punk scene in Latvia, but after listening to Rosewater I think I need to check it out some more.

Ultra Dark Radio: Compilation I

Ok, this is a compilation so it's a bit difficult to pin down the exact genre, but it seems to revolve around EBM with some tracks that goes out in other directions.

AcousticBrainz needs more darkness

There is a new project called AcousticBrainz that attempt to analyse audio files and when you read what they have found so far at What do 650,000 audio files look like, anyway? it looks like they need more aggression and darkness. So please download the software and run it on your music collection.

Vampire Knight by Vampire Knight

Ok, this is the self-titled debut EP by Vampire Knight. It starts out as gothic ambient or something. Then it gets more spaced out and there starts some beats. When it reaches the final tracks it's pretty much electro-industrial.

Oxygenfad - Industrial Rock (I made when I was 16)

Oxygenfad, a.k.a. William Mcleod, is a Canadian artist that mainly makes breakcore and techno (and that's why I never heard of him), but there is one interesting release where he made industrial rock. The sound quality is not the best (not that I care that much about that) and the tracks are perhaps not that polished either, but it gives an interesting insight in what might have happened if his career had not been cut short.

Cold Space by Izorian

There is a lot of so called dark ambient and while it might be OKish I have not yet found anything as dark as Izorian. It is so dark and cold it gives me goosebumps.
If it is music or not may be irrelevant. It is very cinematic, much like a soundtrack. It may be even be more of sound effects than actual music.

Single by Victorian

Why do you choose to call your single "Single"? Well, the band name is well chosen. Victorian is a gothic metal band from Indonesia. Perhaps not a music scene many know a lot about. Neither do I, but I'm told they have a thriving death metal scene. Anyway, give it a listen!

Generic by Strauss ex Machina

Created by Strauss ex Machina (known from Morlocks) made this brilliant track. Yes, it's a parody but the lyrics is pure genius. Too bad you have to understand English, German and Swedish to get them fully.

Wolf Heath by Egil the Eagle

The second single from Egil the Eagle steps up the tempo a bit. The industrial metal is now leaning more towards metal.

Не в этом мире by Unreal

Unreal is a group I have followed for some time. Their music has been described as space electronic or cyber goth. In my opinion it is perhaps better described as some sort of darkwave.
